Back by popular demand, we’re reloading some of our most successful podcast episodes of all time - they’re on one of our other favorite shows from the TLC Universe, 19 Kids and Counting! As much as we live for the Whitney updates, we also are ten toes deep on the Duggar updates, and mostly are living for any accountability that comes Josh’s (and others’) way! We’re bringing you all back to the background of the Duggar family so you can see how this monster was created; why he was allowed to behave the way he did and how he thrived in a patriarchal environment where women are second-class citizens who worship their husbands with the “adoring gaze” and men who step out of bounds are only made to “confess” to Church Elders, rather than police. This is the beginning of a more in-depth series that we hope to revisit when the time is right, but we’ve gotten lots of interest and are giving the people what they want!
